My purpose of requesting or accepting financial support is not just to “get free money” but rather to give me a means to expand my ability for a better “product” and to branch into some other related projects. As it currently stands, I make these journals at no cost to the reader, and I really do not have any costs to produce the journals, except for time. What few costs I do have are already part of other existing sources used for other purposes.

Much of what I include in the journal, besides random things, are a collection of individual experiences, travels, and ongoing topics. Since the reboot of the journal in 2012, I currently have accumulated much that has been included in the journals. Any time I go on a trip, I include a summary. Whenever I have a specific interest in a topic or event, I include information and photos. I like to include various ongoing topics like history, gardening, humor, food, language, and whatever else I want to put in the journals.

Besides the digital journals, I would like to develop my YouTube channel some more. The YouTube channel is not directly related to the digital journals, per se, but they often do include some of the same content but used in a different way. I currently have about 24 edited videos of a random array of topics, lengths, and presentations since 2015. In addition, I am subscribed to at least that many other channels, with at least a dozen of them that I watch every week.
